Does anyone have any recommendations for a Chinese language schools in kunming doing intensive one on one classes? I’ve been looking at Kunming College of Eastern Language and Culture but they don’t seem to have updated anything in years and I’m not sure they still exist? Is anyone familiar with them? I would rather not do the Keats school which looks very overpriced. I am more or less fluent in Chinese (overseas Chinese) and so can get by pretty independently without too much hand holding. thank you! Quote

Perhaps just hire a tutor once you arrive. There are often ads for native speakers willing to do one-on-one tutoring on "Go Kunming," a local news site. https://www.gokunming.com/en/ I have also found tutors there (in Kunming) simply by posting notes on the bulletin boards in local cafes and coffee shops in areas near the major universities. I have studied at both Keats and at KCEL, but it has been several years. Quote
