Free HSK Site for Beginners

I would like to share a website I have been working on for a while. There is no cost, and no signup required (unless you want to save progress across devices.) I hope I'm not going against any rules for self-promotion, this is something I built for myself, and hope that will be helpful for other people as well.

My goal is to help make the HSK course more accessible, while providing supporting tools as you progress, all in one place.

The main three features are:

Full HSK Courses - An online version of the HSK course + workbook. This includes all the vocabulary, texts, tone practice, matching, quizzes, sentence composition and more from each lesson. HSK 1-2 is ready, 3-4 coming soon, and I will support HSK 3.0 progression next year.
SRS Flashcards - Spaced repetition flashcards to practice what you learn as you progress. Prioritizing efficiency and multi-modal practice (different prompts/answers tracked separately)
Speaking and Writing Practice - Includes tools for speaking and writing practice. The speaking practice lets you listen and repeat then get your answer graded, and the writing tool lets you progressively write more and more of the character.

I have a lot more features I want to add, but I plan on finishing the HSK 3-4 courses and making sure what exists is polished before I get too far ahead of myself with new features. I would love to hear more feedback from users about what works well, and what doesn't work well. I will prioritize any feedback I get from the community, so let me know if you have any thoughts or feedback.

The site does use AI, as the domain implies, but it's intentionally very subtle. I will experiment with more AI features but I'm erroring on the side of caution to make sure I get it right. Let me know if you have thoughts on the use of AI in learning Chinese. I know it's a touchy subject for some.

I will be trying out this site, clicking through it, it seems like a great tool - would be interesting (and inspiring) to hear how much time you spent on this project, I enjoy the learning style more than the other ai learning site posted recently https://www.sentencelab.ai. Although I am too late for the chinese-forums golden years I'm just in time for the wave of software dev chinese learners . Maybe it's time for me to vibecode a language learning tool as well

Thanks!
I started this version of the site earlier this year. I've probably spent close to 1000 hours on it, but a lot of that was building the online course content. I also built and scraped a lot of different features, or versions of different tools. I'm a software engineer so I enjoy programming and learning Chinese and combing them is my main hobby. I do use AI programming, but I wouldn't call myself a vibe coder, I still write lots of code and review it all (except some of the view code, I just make sure it looks and works well).

If I had spent all of that time learning Chinese instead of making a site I would probably be much further in my studies :)

I enjoy the flashcards, especially how you can drill different modes at once (en -> cn and cn -> pinyin are what I've been using the most), I haven't messed around with the audio capabilities yet but everything else I've used seems very thorough! :clap

Slight UI bugs where the pinyin doesn't wrap in it's column and extends to the next one

That's awesome! I've been hoping more people would use flashcards, I use them every day myself. Most people start with the course. I'll take a look at that display bug.

If you have any feedback on the flashcard progression let me know. I worry with the different modes it might feel overwhelming, but I really like the repetition and variety.
