New Members Zoey H. Posted November 18, 2025 at 01:53 AM New Members Report Posted November 18, 2025 at 01:53 AM I only have fantastic things to say about LTL Taipei. Starting from my initial research of language programs in Taiwan, LTL was by far the most informative, flexible, and responsive. I was always responded to within two days which made the choice of choosing my program a no-brainer. Though on the pricey side, I feel it was very worth the investment. LTL offers a mix of small group classes and 1-on-1 lessons. Students can choose to stay for as short or long as they would like, and in 1-on-1 classes, can focus on whatever skill they wish to improve on. In my three week experience, I was taught by Tammy X (MWF) and Francine (TR). Tammy was extremely strong in language principals, especially in grammar principals. As an english speaker, her ability to break down grammar concepts was surprisingly easy to understand. Francine was incredibly energetic and pushed students in class to speak more. The duo pairing worked really well for my class. In addition to the classes, organized lunches occurred at least twice a week, along with game nights, and external activities. Many solo travelers I met were able to find a niche within the school, and I myself found many folks to call forever friends through this program! Special thanks to Riona and Alin, the two coordinators at LTL Taipei who are always warm and happy to help students with any and all challenges faced. They are not only kind, but resourceful, honest, and helpful. I know not everyone had the same experience with LTL, with one of the main comments being that the teachers all had different teaching styles. That being said, with enough communication, students are able to find a teacher who fits their needs. I absolutely loved LTL Taipei and hope to return my mandarin learning journey here in the near future! 1 Quote
Moshen Posted November 18, 2025 at 09:42 AM Report Posted November 18, 2025 at 09:42 AM To Zoey and anyone else posting language learning testimonials: Thank you for sharing your experiences. It's important to mention what level of Chinese you were at before the program and how long you stayed. This is really helpful for other people to know when they are looking for the right place for them to study. Quote
